Only authorized employees of OUR DEALERSHIP or affiliate financial companies who need your information to process your credit or financing application have access to the personal information you provide us.


What types of information do you collect?


The types of non-public personal information we collect and share depend on the type of financing you are applying for.


The information can include:


  • Social Security number and income.

  • Credit card or other debt and account balances.

  • Payment history and assets; and, Credit History and Credit Scores.

  • When you are no longer our customer, we continue to share your information as described in this notice.


Why is this necessary?


All financial companies need to share personal information to run their everyday business. In this section below, we list the reasons financial companies can share their non-public personal information. The reasons OUR DEALERSHIP chooses to share; and whether you can limit this sharing.


What we share


For our everyday business purposes – such as to process your financing application, maintain your account(s), respond to court orders and legal investigations, or report to credit bureaus.


For our affiliate’s everyday business purposes – such as to process your financing application, maintain your account(s), respond to court orders and legal investigations, or report to credit bureaus.


For our marketing purposes – to offer our products and services to you.


For joint marketing with affiliate financial companies.


Can you limit the above sharing?


Yes, you can limit our sharing of your personal information to our affiliates for their everyday business purposes. However, as these affiliates are likely financial firms processing your application for credit, we will likely then not be able to process your application for vehicle financing. If you wish to limit our sharing of your personal information to our affiliates for their everyday business purposes, should should not apply for financing your vehicle with OUR DEALERSHIP.

All Definitive Motors cars come with a 5-day Money Back Guarantee. If you decide you don't like the car during those first 5 days or 250 miles, just give us a call to set up a return or exchange. You will be refunded the price you paid for the vehicle, excluding the shipping/delivery fee (if applicable). There will be a 5% restocking fee. To return or exchange your vehicle, you must let us know prior to 5 p.m. PST on the 5th calendar day after receiving your vehicle. We cannot accept a return if the car has been modified, in an accident or damaged, altered from the condition it was delivered in or had a lien or other encumbrance put on the vehicle (other than Definitive's retail installment contract). Additionally, if you drive the vehicle over 250 miles, we will not be able to return for refund but you may choose to exchange. You can receive up to one vehicle; however, the second vehicle will NOT come with our 5-Day Money Back Guarantee. Day 1 of your 5-Day Money Back Guarantee begins when you accept the vehicle, regardless of time of day. If you are outside a local market and would like the vehicle delivered right to your door, there will be a transport fee that is non-refundable should you choose to return your vehicle. For customers within our local delivery markets, you will receive a full refund! If you are located outside of a local market, we will refund everything except the delivery fee. We will process the refund the day you return the car, and it typically takes 3-5 business days to be back in your account. Other exclusions: Only vehicles 5 model years or newer are eligible and all High Performance vehicles are excluded from Money Back Guarantee. All Vehicle prices do not include $200 documentary fee, sales tax, license, and registration. Prices have no expiration date. Prices also do not include company mandated Pre-installed $199 Theft Protection and $995 3 yr Windshield Protection.
